How to Choose Peanut Butter Video

Peanut butter is a healthy food when it's not filled with hydrogenated oils and sugar. Spread peanut butter on apple slices or use in smoothies for a healthy, high protein snack.

    Ingredients

    Preparation

      • Choose healthy: Look for natural peanut butter containing only peanuts and perhaps salt in the ingredients list. There should be no hydrogenated oils or refined sugars.
      • To store: Store in the refrigerator unless otherwise directed. If chilled peanut butter is hard to spread, microwave, uncovered, for 15 seconds. If you prefer not to refrigerate peanut butter, the oils may rise to the top and separate. Simply stir before use.
